    A dialog journal is a written conversation in which a student and teacher communicate regularly. This is a bibliography of published works about dialogue journal research and use.     My only criticisms of the book have to do with minor editorial matters. The book has enough copy-editing errors (perhaps one every pages) to suggest the need for one more good, careful read-through. Also, the discussion of Levinas on pp. seems undocumented in the footnotes and bibliography. The article suggests that a relational ethics approach can address two issues: how qualitative proposals are interpreted by research ethics committees and how this safeguards potentially vulnerable respondents. In relational terms, the governance of a research project may be enhanced by shared ownership and willingness to engage in mutual dialogue.
